A couple of interesting projects recently making use of Pachube for sensor-logging and monitoring a controllable electricity meter:
- Dan Hill and his UTS Masters students, along with colleagues at CRIN, the Centre for Real-Time Information Networks in the Engineering deptartment, are developing a project around 'The street as platform'. They will be using Pachube to log a number of the sensor devices they've placed around an area of Sydney, Australia:
- Adrian McEwen has been developing Mazzini, a controllable electricity meter, that is able both to report current power usage and control the devices its monitoring. He has been using Pachube to connect Mazzini to the web:
If you would like to be included in future "featured projects" notices, please drop us a line and let us know how you've been using Pachube!

Re: Featured projects: Sensor logging & Controllable Electricity
Thanks for the mention. I think this is a good idea - it will be nice to hear more about what people are doing with Pachube.
Re: Featured projects: Sensor logging & Controllable Electricity
got me thinking: there have actually been a couple of "features" prior to this -- so i've just made a page to archive them and added it to the menu: http://community.pachube.com/?q=node/91

Sidney? In Australia we spell it Sydney - you might want to edit the original posting.
